What we collect, and nothing else.
1. Who we are
Girard operates this website. For any question about this policy or your data, write to skangovi@usegirard.com. We answer data requests within 30 days.
2. What we collect
Only what you type into the access request form: your name, work email, company, and optionally what made you look. Nothing on this site collects anything else. There is no account, no profile, and no hidden collection.
Our form provider records the technical metadata that accompanies any web submission, including the submitting IP address and timestamp, for spam prevention.
3. Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies, and uses no analytics, no advertising pixels, and no third-party trackers. It writes exactly one value to your browser's local storage, girard:intro, which records that you have already seen the opening animation so that it does not play again. It holds no identifier, it is never read by us or sent anywhere, and clearing your browsing data removes it. Nothing else is stored on your device, so there is nothing to consent to and no banner to dismiss.
4. Third parties we rely on
- Formspree · United States. Receives and forwards your form submission to us. Acts as our processor. Transfers outside the EEA/UK rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
- Fonts. All typefaces on this site are served from our own domain. Your browser does not request font files from any third party.
We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it for advertising, and we use no other processors.
5. Why we may use it, and on what basis
We use your details for one purpose: to respond to your access request and discuss whether Girard fits your company. Under the GDPR our legal basis is your consent, given when you submit the form, together with our legitimate interest in replying to a business enquiry you initiated. You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing us; withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out.
6. How long we keep it
We keep access requests for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, then delete them. If you ask us to delete your details sooner, we do so and keep only a minimal record that the request was made.
7. Your rights
If you are in the EEA or the UK, you have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, receive a portable copy, and withdraw consent. You may also lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what we collect, to request deletion or correction, and to be free from discrimination for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA, and we do not process sensitive personal information.

8. Security and children
Submissions travel over an encrypted connection and are held in access-controlled systems. No transmission is perfectly secure, so please do not send confidential deal material through this form. This site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
9. Changes
If this policy changes we will update the effective date above. Material changes affecting people who have already contacted us will be sent by email.
