Agents
Agents work for your team. They never decide for it.
A specialist agent for each lane, plus specialists for negotiation, paperwork, history, policy and assurance.
01In the open
They talk in the open.
Agents write to each other in plain words, in threads kept in the deal record. When they disagree, the owner decides.
The buyer wants 24 months. We accepted 24 twice before, both on three-year terms.
This deal is a two-year term. The 24-month cap doubles exposure to $500,000.
No agreement between agents. Sent to the legal owner with both positions.
02What they do
They watch every open deal.
- A term monitor. Watching the open terms on every deal.
- Gap watchers. Across the security topics buyers ask about.
- Stalled-deal alerts. When a deal stops moving.
- Drift alerts. When a document moves away from what was approved.
- A board between lanes. A fast, fixed-format way for one lane to ask what the others hold on a term.
- Limits on themselves. Threads stop after a set number of messages or hours. Anything quoted from the buyer is treated as untrusted.
03Actions
Actions stay off until you switch them on.
One action type at a time, lowest risk first, inside an owner's limit. Every act is logged with its rule, and owners get a daily digest with an undo wherever the buyer hasn't yet accepted.

- Handle standard confidentiality agreements inside legal's limitOff
04Buyers' agents
A door for buyers' agents.
When a buyer sends an AI agent, Girard answers it through a private link tied to one deal, with signed-off items or action types you have switched on. Everything else becomes an ask for your team. Every reply is signed, and requests are limited per deal.
