Why trust it
Hold us to it.
Four rules, published so you can check them, and enforced in the product rather than in a policy.
Every answer traces back to a named person, a date and a term. That is the whole design.
Four rules that do not bend.
We publish them because we think you should be able to hold us to them.
Nothing is said without a named person's decision behind it.
No general knowledge dressed up as your company's position. A specialist knows what an indemnity clause does; it does not know what your company will accept until one of your people has ruled on it. If nobody decided it, the specialist does not say it. It asks.
No agent commits anything to a buyer.
Specialists work inside the room. They read, price, frame and propose. Your word to a customer is given by a person, always, in that person's own words.
Decision authority is always human.
The specialist frames the tradeoff, works out the cost and proposes. The call is yours, and it is recorded as yours, with your name on it.
Every action is attributed and permanent.
Person or agent, you can always answer who said this, on whose authority, and when. The record is append-only. Nothing is edited after the fact; a change of mind is a new entry.
Who said this. On whose authority. When.
Every answer a specialist gives carries its provenance with it. Not a confidence score, not a citation to a document, but the person on your side who made the call, the term they ruled on, and the date.
That is what makes an answer safe to act on at eleven at night.
The provenance of one answer
No. Liability capped at twelve months of fees.

What happens to your data.
Your client data, deal terms and documents stay yours. Nothing you put into Girard is used to train models, nothing is shared with other customers, and it is encrypted in transit and at rest, access-controlled, retained only as long as you need it, and erased on request.
-
No training on your data.
Your deals, documents and rulings are never used to train models, ours or anyone else's.
-
Nothing crosses between customers.
Every company's rulings are its own. The concentrate is shared. The water never is.
-
Signed, append-only record.
Entries are signed and never overwritten, so the record cannot be quietly altered after the fact.
What it will not do.
The easiest way to trust a system is to know what it refuses. These are the refusals built into the product, not policies we ask you to take on faith.
