## What each owner gets

- ### Your security owner
What Girard sends you

  - Only the questions nobody has answered before. Past decisions answer the rest where they still apply.
  - A draft from your own documents, with the source line next to each claim.
  - Sign-off claim by claim, with evidence and an expiry date.
What stays with you. Nothing reaches a buyer without your sign-off. A claim with no source comes to you to state, and anything open reads “Answer to follow”.
- ### Your legal owner
What Girard sends you

  - Each change the buyer wants as its own ask, with a clock on it.
  - What your company accepted before, shown at the moment you decide.
  - Decisions by plain email reply, in Slack or in Teams, with a short window to undo.
What stays with you. New positions are yours, and a past decision is offered as precedent, never applied as a rule. Redlines drafted from your approved fallbacks are coming.
- ### Your finance owner
What Girard sends you

  - Discount and payment-term asks with the whole package attached.
  - Private limits you set and change yourself, never shown to reps or buyers.
  - A backup and a final say, so a deal never waits on one person's holiday.
What stays with you. Anything outside your limit comes to you. A term with no limit set always does.

## What a decision looks like for an owner.

A short message in the place they already work, with the ask, the context and what was decided before. They reply in plain words, and can undo it for a short while after.

- Only their part. Each owner sees the asks they own on the deal, not the whole thread.
- No new tool. Decisions come by plain email reply, in Slack or in Teams.
- A record of every decision. Who decided, when and on what evidence, offered as precedent next time.
- Product and procurement too. Their owners work the same way on roadmap asks and supplier paperwork.

## About Girard itself.

Girard never asks for or stores anyone's password, and it reads only the mail your rep forwards, or the mailbox and calendar you choose to connect. A mutual NDA comes before any live deal is shared during a trial, and at the end you can export everything or have it deleted within 30 days.

Girard does not hold a SOC 2 report today; it plans to begin with Type I. A data processing agreement is coming. What runs today and what is coming is marked on every page.
